Another advantage is cultural experienced. Visitors have the chance to experience new traditions and lifestyles, while local residents can learn about other cultures. This can improve international understanding and relationships with other countries. In addition, tourism often encourage government to improve public facilities, including airports, roads and public transport, which benefits both locals and tourists.
However, increasing tourism can also lead to several problems. Popular destinations may become overcrowded, which can make daily life difficult for local residents. More tourists also mean more waste and pollution, especially in natural areas such as beaches and mountains. This can damage the environment and harm wildlife. Furthermore, local cultures may be affected when communities try to change their traditions to satisfy tourist expectations.
