To initiate with, neglecting right to vote, ignoring civic responsibilities and declining engagement in governmental processses leads to weakening of Democracy. To clarify, owing to making use of right to vote, citizens would not be able to enjoy the government of their own choice and interest. Which further hampers individuals interest and creates unavoidable conflicts among masses. Moreover, if youngsters not prioritize their civic duties then the society become aimless and it directly effect nation’s growth. However, this problem can be solved by taking appropriate measures such as educational institutions should create awareness or educate students about one’s own duty towards society. This would generates huge interest among children and they start making themselves engaged in society or nation’s political, social and economic activities. For example, countries such as USA, Britain and Germany give mandatory political education till higher secondary level which creates general now how about rights and duties among youngters.
Moreover, failing to exercise the right to vote by youngsters give birth to poor leadership. To explain, if there would be less vote, then their would be less representation from citizen’s side. Which creates less competition among leaders and also poor and foolish leaders get oppotunity to come in power and regulate the nation. This will directly leads to wrong decision making and damages international reputation. Therefore, in society people should be given small roles and responsibilities like maintaining growth data, encourage people about political participation and many more. This would create a sense of duty among individuals and it would be easy for them to analyse or choice future leader. For instance, a report published by National Youth and Government organisation which states that more than 70% of inidividuals take interests when they themselves take responsibilities to perform various tasks for their country.
