They will be more independent and learn to solve problems by themselves. However, living without parents also causes disadvantages, such as loneliness and financial issues.

As a result, young adults obtain many opportunities in dealing with personal problems, for example, they have to decide where they live and pay the rental bill by themselves. Giving them loads of challenges and learning from valuable experiences, which offer a sense of responsibility and obligation in their lives, also develop eventual capacities and skills. Additionally, the independent cultures are highly likely to apply in the western countries, because their cultures are empathised in personal growth.
Meanwhile, there are noticeable challenges associated with leaving the family house. Particularly, young adults might experience financial pressure after leaving. Thus, they have to be concerned about employment and expenditure while living alone, because they are required to pay the rent and daily expenses. Simultaneously, the mental wellness of young people cannot be missed. After moving outside, it is easy to feel lonely while lacking a supportive network from their family. In addition, it would be a tough time when someone is unprepared to leave the family.
In short, culture is related to the social norms and providing an individual expectation in the society, like living alone or with the family. But it also brings benefits and drawbacks to teenagers, such as living stress.
