In various cultures, it is common for young people to leave their family homes at the earliest opportunity. The desire for independence and freedom can be seen as beneficial, as it enables the individuals to take responsibility for their actions. However, it is crucial to acknowledge the financial challenges and the necessity for self-management by living alone.
One of the advantages of living independently is gaining many life skills. The adults experience how to sort out problems, and learn managing home chores autonomously. For instance, they develop problem-solving skill, control own finance and improve life skills like cooking, cleaning and shopping. Reflecting on the wrong actions empower them to grow personally by analyzing the mistakes. Additionally, leading a private life leads to control over their times, allowing the youngsters establish own life rules and break the limits set by their parents.
However, there are some drawbacks of within this habit. Dealing with everyday financial problems like rent payments, utility bills and other living expenses may be stressful. The concern of earning much money can cause to abandon their jobs or education. Moreover, living without parent’s control young individuals may lose time management. The youngsters may spend most of their time on entertainment missing some job responsibilities. As a result, the life of young generation may end up with bad consequences.
Having discussed everything above, I can conclude that being away from family gives not only more independence and freedom but also presents some financial challenges and self-control. One should consider these disadvantages before deciding to inhabit alone.
