In some deprived neighborhood of urban area people are afraid to go out from their house after dark due to fear of crime. In my opinion many women are not ready to leave their homes because of crisis.
To begin with, there are many individuals afraid of going out in the night time with their friends or family because, they might think something unusual thing will occur, and they will get in a big problem. In addition to it, there might be some strangers who might kidnap women especially small children. So, they are afraid to roam around the town. For instance, in metropolitan city such as Delhi, is very risky for females to go outside at night time. And, it is noted that many crimes occur in Delhi with females and with kids. Therefore, to tackle this problem police should be very strict in punishments with the individuals committing such crimes. Moreover, if any male had done a rape with any women he should be given life time imprisonment.
Other cause for crime is that, there are many such areas which is covered with forests. Many wild animals might attack the humans during night time for their hunger. This crime is not been committed by people but this done by animals. For example, wild animals like lion can outside the forests and attack on humans. In addition to it, to overcome this problem government build an infrastructure near the forest area so that animals cannot come in the village area.
Ergo, there can be reasons for crime specially with women and children. So, government should come up with strict action to stop these crimes.
