Initially, archive documentations and rare exponats were a part of a museum. However now, everybody can easily access to any piece of a history via internet, therefore, a lot of people are considering museums as obsolite. As this trend can be seen as a positive development, I personally think that it harmfully effects on aesthetic part of individuals personality and cultural values.
firstly, Museums are not just a place where people can see pictures and sculptures but also a place where touching and feeling history can be possible. Watching claude Monet’s or Pablo Picaso’s works online is not the same with being face to face and looking upon mesterpieces. pictures on the internet are usually in poor quality. Human eyes are way more accurate on pointing details and while looking at exponats closely we can not only scan but think more deeply about painters and sculpturers inner feelings. Even if works were taken on a professional camera they can not fully express the authors thoughts as being face to face does.
It is also worth pointing that, Although, using internet sourses can be more convinient, going out is socially benefiting the society. Museum is the best place for introverts and unsociable people to socialize and comunicate through their favourite topic. they do not have to make an extra effort to get to know the oponent as they already have the same perspective for life. Finding a partner or friend in a museum is much more easier than elsewhere. For exemple, the reaserch on psychological magazine shows that 2500, almost 45% people find it easier to get acquainted in the museums and art exhibition rather than on parties or on the streets.
In conclusion, whether innovations led to many people considering going to museums something obsolite, I think museums still have their value and weight on communities.
