Nowadays, the health of our environment is deteriorating day by day. Some people think that individuals can do nothing in this regard, but only governments and large companies can make a difference.
According to many studies , it’s clear that we are in this catastrophic situation because of the human being and his activities. For this reason, now, it’s his job to find a solution to try to solve this problem in the shortest possible time. Certainly, individual people can’t do a miracle, but it’s fake that they can do nothing to improve the environment. In fact, the first thing that they should do is to reduce their bad habits like smoking, throwing waste on the ground, the plastic consumption, and many other.
However, it’s true that only governments and large companies can make a difference. As a result, if we want to improve things really, governments must take control of the situation in hand and start to change the rules. Mainly, a good solution would be that of encouraging people to use public transport instead of using private vehicles in order to reduce the air pollution. In addition, about it, each government could add some laws that aim to decrease the traffic during rush hours.
Furthermore, since the waste of plastic, and also the use of harmful substances have a great rensponsibility on the environment, governments must also take action for large companies. In particular, the role of companies is of paramount importance and the reduction of their emissions, or their plastic production would show a big difference.
In conclusion, I argue that governments and large companies have to drive this “fight” and they are the main offenders; despite this, individuals can do something, and indeed they must do their best to improve the environment, starting with the little things like throwing waste into the appropriate bins and not on the ground, for example.
