Nowadays there are many arguments about the importance of particular jobs. Some people say that more workers, whose impact can be seen on a daily basis, are needed for the society. Others state that more inventors are essential to be raised. In this essay I will express my opinion on the importance of these jobs.
First of all, we live in the era of modern technologies, so to stay up-to-date a lot of research have to be done constantly. That is the reason why society needs inventors. Without inventors no technological growth can be achieved. Were there no inventors, the development of society would stop and no-one could do anything with it. For example, the invention of steam machines allowed people to use coal for generating power. Without such an invention no factories would be possible to have been built.
Secondly, performance of doctors is highly correlated with the achievements of inventors. The latter create new machines essential for the medical system. These machines help doctors to make surgeries and other complicated manipulations with human bodies. Were it not for inventors’ labor, modern medicine would be ineffective and there would be more deaths in the world. The examples of such a correlation can be found in each hospital. All of the modern medical equipment (like lung ventilation machine) were created with the help of inventors.
Taking into consideration arguments expressed above, I can assume that I disagree with the statement that inventors are not as important to society as doctors. I believe that these jobs have equal benefits for the world and inventors are highly appreciated nowadays.
In conclusion, I would like to say that both doctors and inventors improve society. Without them life would be more difficult and harsher. Moreover, it can surely be declared that doctors should not be appreciated higher than inventors, because without new technological discoveries medicine would not have developed so well.
