Our planet developed gradually and slowly over time, so there are a variety of aspects in the comparison between life in the 21st century and life in the previous centuries. My perspective between two centuries will be discussed below.
In particular, the difference of two centuries can obviously be seen throughout education and the system that educates children. Students in the past were often less productive and could not take part in social activities with real life examples in their lessons. Now, pupils have access to many devices which help them to research information and study effectively. Besides that, globalization helps the educational system easily adapt to the changes happening all over the world to provide for children up to date knowledge. For example, I have a lot of opportunities in school to use my computer and research which help me have more skills and also improve my knowledge.
Moreover, infrastructure and urban planning are two elements that can evidently prove that life in the 21st century is better than in the previous centuries. Roads and people’s living conditions in the past definitely never overly outweighs current life. The infrastructure in the 21st century contains a lot of superior material which can make the quality of roads and facilities more sustainable. It also can improve people’s motivation to work and contribute to their life. Public transportation and vehicles in the past were still a basic model and nowadays with human development, they are better, faster and more convenient. There are still some features that life in the past has its own good qualities. Pollution is one of the problems that humans now globally concern about but in the past no one mentioned these kinds of things.
In conclusion, life quality in the 21st century is the peak of the human race compared to the past centuries which is definitely worse.
