In recent years, it is common that many business collaborate with celebrities to advertise and promote their products. From my perspective, the advantages of this trend overshadow its drawbacks.
It is undeniable that inviting famous people to publicize products is a costly campaign. This is not a great choice for small businesses to follow. For example, businesses could explore other cost-effective options such as organizing customer referral programs or creating blog posts on the internet rather than collaborating with celebrities without considering financial implications that may result in unexpected failures and significant debts.
On the other hand, I still believe the trend’s benefits eclipse its limitations. First and foremost, the involving of celebrities in marketing campaigns could enhance brand visibility. As everyone knows, well-known individuals have significant impacts that can help companies to appeal to customers more readily. For instance, a famous content creator “Hằng Du Mục” has accepted the role as the representative of a Tan Cuong red apple brand, which has enhanced the credibility of the product and helped it become a popular item on TikTok. Additionally, the collaborating would result in considerable profit. These famous people usually have a huge number of fans who always what to support their idols by purchasing unreasonably products their idols advertise. If the business is willing to invest sufficiently in inviting big stars to collaborate, such as famous actors or K-pop idols, the profits generated from the represented products would be unimaginable.
To conclusion, the cooperation between famous people and businesses to promote or advertise products brings disadvantages such as incur costs. I still belive this is a prudent choice which would enhance brand visibility and significant profit.
