In contemporary society, it is taught that it is more crucial to learn English language rather that countrys native one. It’s very important that we would know how to speak English but we have to not forget the local languages otherwise it will die out. There a few ways that this problem can be solved, one solution is that schools should start prioritazing the countrys main language while parents also have to ensure that a younger ones would not use as much english words while speaking.
One of the predominant factors contributing to this dilema is schools not providing enough material and information in classes about their mother language. Ussaly kids think thats those courses are boring because teachers do not make them interactive enough. For example, they could provide some engaging games or lecture them with rewards. This way young pupils would start participating more in class and wouldn’t forget nescessary material.
Moreover, parents sometimes also don’t show enough encouragement in helping kids to not slip from their mother tounge. Adults should definetly take acountability and explain to their daughters and sons how nescessary it is to not forget their heritage. For instance, the whole family could wath historical movies or go on expedition to increase their knowledge about their region. This way youngsters would remeber what a long way their language had to home to be able to exist to this day.
In conlusion, family and education are the main factors that incluence society and plays a significant role in perpetuating this situation. Education institutions should focus on how best to develop courses and adults should always remind us that loacal languages should not be tossed into trash.
