As we approach a world where traditional values are increasingly being challenged by modern trends, it has become common for individuals from all nations to follow global fashion. While this trend is mainly driven by internet exposure and the desire to fit into modern society, I believe it has more negative consequences, particularly in terms of eroding cultural identity.
One major reason global fashion has gained such influence is the easy access to the internet. Nowadays, people from all regions can watch international celebrities and influencers online, many of whom wear modern and often revealing clothes. As a result, individuals unconsciously adopt these styles. For instance, in Uzbekistan, many young people imitate Turkish actors not only in clothing but also in lifestyle and behavior.
In my view, this shift in fashion represents a negative development. When people abandon traditional clothing in favor of global trends, they risk losing their cultural heritage. This can lead to a decline in national identity and a weakening of traditional values. A clear example is the rising popularity of revealing clothing, which often contradicts the moral standards of conservative societies.
In conclusion, although global fashion is popular for understandable reasons such as internet influence, I believe it is a harmful trend due to its impact on cultural values and identity.
