It is widely believed that living in the city has more advantages than residing in the countryside. I personally agree with this statement, and this essay will elaborate on my perspective.
On the one hand, I believe that there are numerous benefits to living in urban areas. One of the foremost advantages is education. Urban areas have better educational infrastructure and a wide range of amenities, making them a prime example of why people migrate from rural areas. Another significant reason is the abundance of job opportunities. For instance, big cities are home to many multinational companies, such as Google and Facebook, which have massive recruitment policies, thereby increasing employment opportunities.
Additionally, there are numerous other factors that attract people to live in the city. Firstly, the standard of living in urban areas is relatively higher than in villages. To illustrate, the average income of an individual is sufficient to sustain a prosperous life. Moreover, urban areas have a multitude of amenities that make life easier, such as malls that offer a variety of quality goods under one roof, as well as excellent medical facilities that are often lacking in rural areas. Many individuals from non-urban areas strive to upgrade their lives by moving to big cities, with some even achieving wealth.
In conclusion, in my opinion, there is no comparison between cities and villages. It is evident that there are numerous benefits that influence people to move to urban areas, although villages do have their advantages, such as natural beauty.
