Nowadays, there are lots of people who argue that advanced technology has connected people more with each other, while other people reckon that it has driven humans apart. I stand with the people who believe modern technology has connected people more than ever before. In this essay I will elaborate my opinion on this topic.
Due to advancements in technology, people can stay in contact with each other much easier. For example, if your grandparents live on the other side of the world, you are still able to give them a phone call while being thousands of kilometers away from their location. Therefore, I believe technology has made it easier for us to bring people together. Without the progress our society is making in technology, we would have to travel hours or send a postcard to have normal human contact.
However, some people reckon that modern technology is making people stay away from each other, mainly because it is not needed to visit someone personally anymore. In addition, it is much easier to just make a quick phone call. For this reason, lots of people do not feel the need to have personal contact, making it more difficult to have normal relationships.
In conclusion, there is a discussion about the effects of modern technology on human relationships. While some people agree that it has more downsides, others think it can have positive results. Taking everything into consideration, I believe advancements in technology led to people connecting more easily, and therefore bringing them together.
