In this contemporary era, the tendency of allowing employees to work from home has emerged as a significant pattern for many organizations. This trend has both pros and cons, and this essay will explain both positive and negative sides. Working from home provides wide range of opportunities and merits for employees. One of the valuable benefits is productivity .People can spend most of their time working rather than preparation for going out. For example, female workers who are married should manage their time properly. They should prepare breakfast for family members or do some makeup for tidy appearance. But if they work online, this does not require extra time for preparation, which helps to improve work quality and efficiency. The next following advantage is work-life balance. The majority of people nowadays spend most of their time at work, which leads to the poor quality of communication with their family members and close ones. Working without leaving a house is the best choice to share experiences and talk by heart with them. In spite of these positive sides, this phenomenon has brought crucial drawbacks as well. A common criticism of working online are poor quality and team building. The person who works offline always will be under control of the manager who gives feedbacks for their jobs. For example, the employee who works with manager can easily get career progression by getting experience from their colleagues. But the online workers are far from this. In conclusion, we are witnessing that the most number of organizations provide possibility to work from home. I believe that the advantages of this tendency overshadow their disadvantages.
