Traveling undoubtedly plays a significant role in our lives. In recent times, an increasing number of people are worried about the environmental impact of air travel. However, I believe that using air travel is preferable to traveling by road.
On one hand, traveling by road can be highly beneficial for various reasons. One of the key advantages is that people have the opportunity to enjoy sightseeing and witness spectacular landscapes. For example, a road trip from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh city takes about a week, allowing travelers to experience numerous beautiful sights with friends or family, which can be a great way to relax and unwind. Additionally, traveling by road through different provinces and cities enables individuals to immerse themselves in various traditions and cultures. For instance, tasting traditional foods in different provinces, such as griddle-cake and stuffed pancake in Cao Bang province, can enrich one’s cultural experience and broaden their horizons.
On the other hand, I believe that air travel is superior to traveling by car or motorbike. Firstly, it saves time and money especially when visiting foreign countries or other cities. For instance, traveling to Japan by air takes only 2 to 3 hours compared to hours of driving, resulting in significant cost savings. The convenience of simply heading to the airport and boarding a plane cannot be overlooked. Another crucial benefit is that air travel promotes easier access for international visitors to our country, which can greatly boost our economy by enhancing our service industry. Discouraging the use of air travel for people and tourists would likely have multiple drawbacks in both their lives and our society.
In conclusion, I am convinced that affordable air travel can offer a multitude of benefits to individuals. These advantages also extend to the government’s concerns for the future.
