This exposure helps develop appreciation for diversity and reduces prejudice between nations. Additionally, traveling abroad promotes personal growth and independence. The massive influx of tourists creates overcrowding in places like Hoi An and Da Nang, putting enormous strain on infrastructure and causing living costs to rise dramatically. As a result, local residents are often forced to relocate to more affordable areas, permanently disrupting authentic community life and destroying the social fabric that once held these neighborhoods together. Moreover, the obsession with foreign destinations leads people to neglect domestic tourism opportunities in their own countries. Instead of exploring beautiful local attractions, travelers prefer exotic overseas trips. This preference causes the domestic tourism industry to lose substantial revenue, leaving local businesses struggling financially. Consequently, regional economic development becomes stunted as money flows out of the country rather than supporting the local economy and creating jobs for residents.
