Some of the college students prefer to stay with their parents, as well as some of them live separately from them. Despite the fact that dwelling with parents may seem as a convenient facility for most of the students, to grow up as an independent person, it is necessary to learn how to live alone. From my point of view, it is important for people to separate from their parents as soon as possible, even though it could be challenging.
The most obvious fact that comes with staying with parents is comfortability, which makes a student’s life much easier owing to its given opportunities. Due to the fact that a lot of parents have an instinct to care about their child, even if they would deny it, it wouldn’t change the fact that they still do some basic stuff such as cooking, laundry, etc., which makes their child more relaxed and focused on a school year. A clear instance of that would be my older sister, who decided to stay with our parents, and now she’s just enjoying her student life; and don’t worry about the food and roof over her head. To sum up, these advantages are leading individuals to be more slack during the study year and making them keep up with more crucial things as education.
When it comes to the most significant issues, faced with that is the lack of independence that consequently would be seen through the actions in the future. The reason for that is that some of the students get used to living on everything ready-made, which makes them more lazy and non-spacing, so when they moving away, it is really hard for them to accommodate to new circumstances. According to research made by Cambridge University, about 89% of people who used to live with their parents in their student years are struggling with the consequences of that. Thus, there is a lot of evidence showing that allowing a child to live with their parents is definitely not the best idea, and despite some of the advantages that it may bring in student life, it would be returned to the adult one.
nowadays many people argue about whether it’s better for a child who’s studying at university to stay with them or let them go. While one of them relishes their student life living with parents, others fight for the best future and get used to adapting to a new place. As far as I am concerned, no matter how hard it could be to combine the study and independent life, it is anyway better than staying with parents and facing the consequences of that in the future.
