It is argued by some that most of the pressing challenges can be solved with global collaboration. While some believe that every country can manage these problems independently. This essay will discuss both perspectives and provide supporting examples.
One of the most serious global issues is environmental degradation, including global warming and climate change, which might lead to grave consequences without international cooperation. Global warming may affect not only the environment but also human health and the global economy. For instance, higher temperatures can cause droughts and crop failures leading to food insecurity in many regions.
Another urgent concern is global health problems, which also demand to unity among all citizens of the Earth. To illustrate, Covid-19 considered one of the most dangerous diseases in the world because it was highly contagious and affected people in almost every country. As a result, researchers around the world developed vaccines against Covid-19, thereby proving that global cooperation helps to solve the problems more effectively and quickly.
However, not all urgent problems require international cooperation. Some issues, such as poverty, unemployment and low-quality education should be solved by national governments. Each country has its own economic situation and social needs, so local authorities can create new jobs and provide with employment or improve the education system. For example, the government of Japan has successfully reduced unemployment by investing in technology and creating new job opportunities in some sectors. Meanwhile, many countries have improved the level of education system, by using new technology and also increase the salary of teachers.
In conclusion, many urgent problems such as environmental or healthcare should be solved with international cooperation, while some believe that it can be sorted out individually. In my perspective, I believe that global issues should be tackle with global collaboration, while some sectors like education, unemployment can be solved effectively when they are addressed individually by national governments.
