It is believed by the majority of people that whenever reporting news, the truth should not be influenced by personal opnions. In this essay, I will discuss why I think that not all news is true and explore the real purpose of newspapers.
The primary reason why I do not think that all new is true is that news outlets are typically controlled by specific organizations. To elaborate, news are pieces of information relayed from a person to another and this information could be falsfied or altered easily before going out to the public. For example, most of the newspapers and channels are controlled by governments. Some events can negatively affect the economic status of the countries, such as terroristic attacks or major accidents. These events could be deleted or altered so as to improve the image of the countries. That is why I believe that not all reported news is correct.
However, I think that newspapers should include the latest news and events happening around the world. In a perfect world, the public should be able to read or watch the latest news from every part of the globe simultaneously without any personal opinions. For instance, major newspapers should have information about economy, sports, and music ,etc. In addition, newspapers could also be a perfect place for advetisements and promotions. Companies and sellers should be able to market their products or service as it gurantees good exposure and reach to many potential customers.
To conclude, although It is widely believed that newspapers should provide truthful information without any personal influence, in my opinion, many news are being falsfied nowadays.
