Needless to say,it is commonly known that many species have gone extinct throughout the history. Some people argue that it is a natural process, sparkling a debate on wheather such species are became vanished due to human activities. However,I think that humans have moral obligation to protect endangered species.
Commencing with the most salient reason for agreeing the protection of wildlife is useful to humans not only for ecological balance but also for ethical ones. In other words, humans play crucial role in maintaining balance of the ecosystem because many species are vanished due to human activities like over fishing, pollution and so on. Therefore it is a responsibility of humans to conserve the environment and prevent further harm to wildlife.
Moreover, some of the insects became distinct like honey bees and butterflies because these are pollinator insects it would have a devastating impact on the food supply and ecosystem. Similarly, the loss of predators can cause repple effects, leading to over population of there species.
However, prevention of extinct is not only a matter of responsibility but also a matter of morality species have less value and it is not our place to determine which species should extinct and which are not. It is a responsibility of human being to conserve all the species.
In conclusion, even though extinction may be a natural process it is not a justification for humans to watch countless species go extinct. But there are myriad actions would be taken by them to conserve animals .
