There is ongoing debate about whether animal trials can be used in order to improve and test modern remedy, which is beneficial to society or whether animal-based experiments should be restricted. This essay will discuss both ideas in support of former ideas.

One the one hand, some people believe that animal experiments should be prohibited in terms of several reasons. One of the main reasons is that animal-based trials are unethical and cruel. To put it simply, during the experiment animals can be fell suffer, stress, and pain, which animals cannot give permission to undergo this process. For example, frogs and rats are one of the most common animals which is used by scientists to test new drugs, chemicals, and surgery procedure, before testing on human. Therefore, animal-based experiments should be limited regarding ethics and inhuman treatments.

One the one hand, others, including myself, believe that animal experiments is one of the most effective ways to test new medicines. One of the main reasons is that these tests allow individuals to test safety in medical experiments. This is because by using animals for experiments enables scientists to monitor side effects of new drugs, which allows individuals to ensure about safety. Some people may simply have allergic reactions to some medicine and testing it on humans before animals can lead to serios health problem for humans. Consequently, using animals for experiments can be beneficial for humans due to lack of health risk.

In conclusion, although conservationists are strongly opposite to using animals for testing because of ethical sides and abusive treatment, I believe that it can be useful for society because it allows humans to know about medicine.
