Band 6+: nowadays environmental problems are too big to be managed by individuals or countries. It is now international problem. to what extent do you agree or disagree

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Public debate has arisen over whether each person or country can solely enhance environmental issues. While some may argue that interational organizations should deal with these problems because they are too big, I believe each individual or government can impacts them. In forthcoming essay I will discuss why I am partially agree with this opinion.

On the one hand, problems such as climate change, carbon emmisions, and polution are direct results of people’s activities; thus, assuming each person action does not play any role is not loggical, in my opinion. For instance, consider air polution in a city like Tehran where recent research has shown it is mainly caused by numerious vehicales. Although a lack of suitable public transportation can be a possible reason for people to use their personal cars, thus increasing number of them, each person can help significantly if he or she finds people who want to commute to same destination using various applications and ask them to join for the ride. This results in fewer one-passenger cars and in general less cars; therefore, less carbon-dioxide will be produced.

On the other hand, many of these events are caused by larger actions that citizens do not decide it. To illustrate, oceans’ polution is a consequence of some countries unleash their nuclear waste in water. However, despite the fact that those countries’ population do not take part in such decision makings, their future is somehow impacted. International organizations should take action in response to these events by setting law. Additionally, they can held meetings in order to control the amount of polution and waste for each country based on its population and also invest on methods to control enviromenal unforseen circumstances.

To conclude, I am agree that global groups are responsible for dealing with issues, but I believe each person can play a role in improving the situation, although it is not as important as larger decisions but if all people take actions it can be a crucial role.
