Nowadays, increasing population’s influence on society is a widely debated topic. Some individuals claim that it is necessary for being dynamic society, while others believe that expansion of population is harmful. both perspectives offer valuable insights into how rise of population affects society. In the fallowing I will argue both point of view and state my opinion.
On the first position, some people are of the opinion that population growth is critical to civilizations for several reason. Firstly, most of the world’s inventors and scientists are young people, for instance Edison who invented electricity at the age of 20, so the development and innovation of any country depends on its young population. Secondly, a young country can also be victorious in warfare. So, in terms of the country’s security, increasing the young population is essential.
On the other hand, the society’s need for health and recreational facilities, job position and other welfare facilities increases as a result of the population growth, which in turn rises the financial burden of the society. Additionally, the increase in population causes an increase in air pollution caused by vehicles and factories.
