The movement along this axis has caused a lot of controversy therefor society debates on whether it is a positive or negative development. While internet platforms supply with unparalleled convenience and accessibility, traditional stores also provide with irreplaceable benefits that significantly improve customer experience. In this essay I try to explain theoretic advantages and disadvantages of online shopping.
Firstly, one of the primary benefits of e-stores is the comfort, avoiding need to travel to physical stores. This is particularly advantageous for groups with busy schedules or limited mobility. Additionally, online shopping platforms often offer a wider range of products than local stores, giving access to items that may not be available in several geographic area. The ability to compare prices and read reviews also empowers consumers to make more informed purchasing decisions. Nobody pushes the button and influence the choice.
In contrast, the inability to physical access to products causes various challenges and difficulties in verifying the quality and suitability, leading to potential dissatisfaction and higher return rates. Moreover, shopping in online way can lead to overconsumption, as consumers are more likely to make impulsive purchases. Lastly, the complexities of returning goods, involving folding various documents and procedures, can discourage doing distance purchases.
