Governments should utilize this money for some useful purposes. In my perspective, this point is completely invalid, space exploration is esstential for human development.
There are some scarce elements on earth and these are brought by asteriods. Scientists claimed that millions of years ago these asteriods collide with earth and the reservoirs of elements were formed. Therefore, space exploration is necesary for discovering these resources. For instances, water was originally not present on earth. It is found in far most side of solar system and ensure that it was from space. Similarly, it is a claim that humans are inhibatants from mars because it is found that there were similar atmosphere on mars as on earth. Due to solar winds, its atmosphere vanished and human took shelter on earth, So, in order to understand the solar system, space exploration is necessity.
