Some people think that paying higher salaries for professional managers than others in a company has many benefits. From my perspective, I strongly disagree with this opinion.
Although this policy can relate to many problems in the workforces, I concede that it still has many advantages for companies for many reasons. The first reason is it can keep employee talent which has high qualification. It is quite likely that if a company can hold many laborers having experience, it can help companies take a chance and avoid risk. Therefore, it can help a company avoid risk and work effectively . Another reason for this is the gap in the salary of different positions in a company can improve incentive. This is because of money, which makes employees have more motivation and strive to gain higher income. Therefore, it can help employees be more dedicated to the company and help it operate better.
Despite of large gap salary can help company boost motivation, I agree that it exist many issues, which negative affect for company. The first reason is it relates to internal conflict. With the large gap in salaries, many employees are not pleased with their income, which can bring about search opportunities suitable for their capacity and meet their demand. Hence, it can make work slower and inefficiency and turnover rate is higher. Moreover, when having a high turnover rate, it will waste resources of the company, which should be used for other issues. Because companies must spend a lot of time, money to recruit staff and training for this. It can not create more advantages and value for the economy.
In conclusion, while it can keep employee talent which has high qualification and improve incentive, it also relates to internal conflict and waste of resources.
