Modern society is accustomed to using plastic in various forms, such as shopping bags or water bottles carried during a run. However, people do not want to understand the scale of environmental harm, for instance, polluted water, the death of animals. To resolve the problem, lawmakers and concerned citizens need to pursue a common goal and develop solutions together.
Although the consequences of plastic pollution could be unseen, over time people can face the lack of both clean fresh water and healthy animals. Due to a lack of motivation, a number of people do not have the habit of recycling plastic which remains after trips or buying products at the store. That factor affects the accumulation of waste and its subsequent release into nature. Not only does plastic damage the clean river, but the animals that drink it also suffer. Furthermore, the problem deteriorates as more animals die, breaking the balance of the ecosystem.
The main method to overcome problems between governments and individuals lies in uniting common abilities. In particular, If groups hold collective negotiations, they will be able to hear everyone’s opinion as well as suggest solutions to improve the environment’s condition. Moreover, the positive decision would satisfy all parties involved. Creating a system of benefits in stores, for example, in exchange for used plastic bottles, would significantly reduce waste.
In conclusion, people must not deny the plastic damage to ecology. Plastic waste in clean water poisons the animals and upset the balance. Despite reluctance, governments should collaborate with citizens to clean water sources and protect wildlife.
