TThe internet is a revolutionary development that occurred to help us with information. However, schools have also been revolutionary because they first provided information and education before the Internet. Some students or society in general would no longer want school and for some, they would still like to continue going to school. This essay will provide two opinions on these questions, which show differences rather than supporting one argument.
Nowadays, some students and parents find it dangerous to go to school because of the increase in crime rates throughout the world. This may not be true in some parts of the world, but it is in most parts of the world. Parents are mostly scared of students being raped, killed, or vandalized by criminals. for example, there was a recent in fox news addressing that there was a recent rape case that happened in the toilet of a school which was done to a junior high school special need student. These types of situations make the students, parents, and society cautious about the environment and surroundings.
In terms of education, most students like to go school as they would meet their friends. This helps them to communicate with one another and helps them socialize with current and new friends. These traits could not only help students be confident but also build leadership qualities. for example, when students are set up into groups for upcoming projects all of them are divided into roles they must follow. This eventually leads them to fulfill their responsibility but also show leadership. School could be a haven as well for students to pursue their ambitions and for knowledge.
To conclude, a school may not be necessary for students to learn as they now have the Internet. However, before jumping into different conclusions, society and students must think and weigh the advantages and disadvantages. For some schools could be hell with the rise of crime rates and schools could be heaven for students to follow their dreams. in these types of situations, it is in the hand on an individual to decide whether to go to school or not.
