In the digital era, schools are losing their value; thus, there is a great deal of data available on social media, and children can learn everything that they want just stay at home. I completely agree with this perspective, as with the assistance of the internet they can learn much faster and more safely.
To begin with, the internet provides lots of valuable programs and information. There are many such good platforms as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, but ChatGPT has gained a special role among children, as they do not need to go to school or expend more energy to learn one thing. For example, if children do not understand anything about a matter, they can ask regarding it from, and they can grasp it easily. Therefore, people prefer internet to school. To add to it, the internet provides a much safer atmosphere than schools. For example, many accidents have happened on the road while children are on the way to school but on the social media it has never happened, it means that people can learn new things in the safest atmosphere.
Moreover, children can learn at their own pace through the internet, revisiting lessons as many times as needed, which is something traditional schools cannot always offer. In case they did not understand the lesson on time, they would watch the lesson again when needed. Although, conventional schools have discipline and social interaction, they cannot apply this. Which is why schools are losing their reputation. Furthermore, the internet motivates children to learn independently because they can choose topics that interest them, making learning more engaging and enjoyable. It means that they can learn with interest related to their major. At schools, they need to learn all subjects and sometimes it leads to monotony from school but on the internet, they have more opportunities to choose and learn.
In conclusion, the internet provides many opportunities and a safer atmosphere to learn. That is why I completely agree with this proposal, schools are not vital anymore
