Nowadays, some factories tend to rehire their old and experienced employees with young individuals who are less experienced. In my opinion, I see that old staff are still capable of giving more effort and experience is important at least until they give the younger generation their skills.
On the one hand, people who see that the youth are worth the positions, which are being captivated by the old people have their own reasons. First, they see that new blood should change the old ones, a new blood with new ways of completing tasks, a new generation with solutions out-of-the-box and new modern technology which improve work and make it faster. Second, because of age factors, old people are no longer think fast or able to do work with the same efficiency they used to do when they were young.
On the other hand, I side with the other side that see that gold cannot lose its shine. I believe that old people are always needed for some reasons. First, experience has proven that be more important than new skills and technology, especially in difficult times like the 2007 economic depression when only skilled and experienced economists managed to get the world out of it. Second, younger people have proven themselves wrong on many occasions and most of the cases require skill not technology.
In conclusion, however, a lot of people see that youth can easily replace old, experienced staff, I see that skilled individuals cannot be replaced.
