Famous people and their private lives have always been a widely debated topic. Among that , many people have eriticized fame as a pampered life , while the other minority holds the opinion that it does more harm than good. While agreeing that celebrities do face certain struggles and obstacles in their career, I am considered that the positive aspects of being famous are more vital.
Admittedly, a major downside of involving in public career is a lack of privacy. This is because individuals’ personal lives can be closely watched, from secrets, relationships to even everyday activities, restricting their own liberties . To illustrate, most celebrities tend to conceal their romance-relationships with a view to maintaining their brand image, avoid public judgement and unwanted consequences. Therefore, the incapability to pursue everyday freedom might deter some groups of people.
On the other hand, some significant advantages can be the high income and comfortable life that being a superstar brings. The reason is that entertainment contexts , including movies, music, games and shows, are in high demand; as a result they are an abundant source of income and create jobs that are considered well paid. For example, “Media and Entertainment” ranks ninth on the “Top ten biggest industries for billionaires in 2025” by Forbes with 116 billionaires, covering 4% of the list. Not only do public figures achieve high earnings, they also hold influence and a top position in the hierarchy. Social media influencers are prevalently known to open cosmetic brands after fame as that is the time when they can draw massive audience. For instance, Kylie Jenner, a model and a socialite, earns significantly from Kylie Cosmetics for $340 million-dollars as well as other Kardashians.
In conclusion, it is apparent that the positive outcomes of being a well-known person, involving richness and power, outweigh the negative ones.
