Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

The issue of criminal behaviour has sparked considerable debate about the reason why these individuals acted this way. It is widely belived that either genetic causes or circumastances made them act this way and commit a crime. I firmly believe that each of this opinion has a point and it depends on the situation.

Firstly, one significantly reason why some of the citizens think about genetic factors is because there is a plenty of mental illness, which can be given by family members like shiziphrenia or depression. For example, such a situation can be seen in prisoners, who had been consumed as mental unstable members of society. This is clearly evident in their decision to commit a crime, which is not because of the personal reasons to get to their goal. The reason of their behaviour obtain with these people’s mental issues. They can not control this, they just need help from psychologists or even mental hospitals.

Secondly, another important opinion is that criminal behaviour is led by certain circumstances. Supporters of this view strongly believe that crime is something going from the situation that made people behave that way. For instance, if they contain some goal, due to revenge or another strong reason coming from their past it makes damaging dilema in their minds. Moreover, the problem is always different and individual for each person.

To sum up, I strongly believe that circumstances are probably the reason that lead people to commit a crime. I agree that genetic causes also have a point, but it is unfair to cover every crime with such a solution. While circumstances give more evident reasons about their behaviour, also including mental issues like genetic causes.
