people have differnt views about keeping animals in zoos . some believe thsat zoos are crucial and unnecessary, while others think that they are helpful for learning and protecting animals . both sides will be discussed before giving my opinion.
There are a number of reason why zoos are harmful foer animals . one possible reason is they believe that animals should live freely in their natural environment , not in small cages, in zoos animals often bored and stressed because thgey cannot move for hunt as they do in the wild. sometimes ,they even showes strange behaivour like walking in circles or hitting the walls . Furthermore, people can now learn about animals through tv,videos and online programme .so kepping animals in zoos is no longer needed for education . keeping animals in cages is unethical , we have no right to use animals for entertainment . zoos exhibit animals with the aim of making a profit.
Despite the above arguments ,it cannot be denied that zoos can also be helpful in many ways. Firstly zoos plays an important role in wildlife conservation. They protect endengered species and help increase their numbers ,through special breeding programmes. For example , animals like the panda and tiger have been saved from extinction because of zoos. They allow scientist to study animal behaivour . Besides zoos give people especially children a chance to see animals closely and understand how they live. This helps people become more aware of the importance of protecting nature.
In my opinion , keeping animals in zoos is acceptable if the animals are treated well and have enough space for live comfortably . Modern zoos should focus on animal care and education rather than environment.
