Some People hold the view that school children should not be given homework by their teachers, whenever others contend that homework is necessary for the education of children. In my opinion children should get homework for several main reasons.
There might be several reasons for disallowing schools to give home tasks to students. Firstly, children get exhausted a lot, in other words, children should not spend too much time studying because the brain is not ready yet for the hard processes. For example, Japan is well known for its hardworking students and workers, but that causes to several mental or physical injuries that finishes with the suicide ending. Secondly, there is little benefit from homework, this means that children who study harder than usual will not get the positive effect. For instance, in Finland children do not get homework and still are more intelligent than some countries in which students get homework.
Despite the arguments above, some other people argue that school children should be given homework by their teachers for several major factors. Firstly, Homework helps children to not forget the information for a long period of time. In other words, when students practice doing similar tasks repeatedly, they will do them faster and more accurately, for example a student learned new formula at school but after 2-3 days he forgot that formula because he didn’t practice them at home. Secondly, self-independence from teachers, in other words children should take their own responsibility for their studying.
In conclusion, some people claim that schoolchildren should not be given homework, and some argue the opposite. In my view students should get homework because it’s necessary to practice new information at home to get skilled and be more accurate at tasks.
