Band 5+: Some people believe that social media sites, such as Facebook or Twitter, have a negative impact on young people and their ability to form personal relationships. Others believe that these sites bring people together in a beneficial way.

Some supporters argued that using social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter has changed people’s communication and abilities of each person. Despite several disadvantages, the benefits may be more significant.

First of all, there can be some limitations and adverse problems of face-to-face contact online with people. The basic issue is that virtual applications can lead to build the distance between themselves and their lives. Especially, it will be worse when almost people always depend and concentrate on the screen over time. It not only affects their health but also has some negative impact on their vision, reducing concentration moderately. For instance, students who have more time to spend on surfing websites, if they focus on those too much, which can affect to lose their awareness and become addicted. Nevertheless, besides the adverse effects, there are also far-reaching advantages.

The most credible benefit can be that social media can provide convenient contact with people. To illustrate in detail, someone who lives far from their relationships may also keep in touch with others easily. Another assistance which these sites provide is that people who have available information and researchers can find them quickly. For example, Google can provide and contain over thousands of information which are necessary for people.

To sum up, although social media has potential downsides, the beneficial ways have also brought greater importance.
