It is often argued that people should study their favourite subjects, but others think they should pursue courses that are beneficial for their future. Personally, I strongly endorse the idea that learners ought to focus on subjects they are passionate about because individuals who study subjects they genuinely enjoy tend to excel in them and develop a deep sense of mastery.
Firstly, students learn better when they study subject they are intersted in. When they enjoy what the study, they feel more motivated and spent more time to learning. For example, a student who loves geography usually enjoys studying maps and tries to find new information about different countries and cultures. Therefore, students who follow their interests can achieve better results and become more successful in the future.
On the other hand, when students study subjects they really enjoy, they can develop a deep sense of mastery. They usually study more to understand hard topics and learn a new things better. For example, a student who is passionate about English may spend extra time to learn a new words, developed new communication skills. As a result, they understand more and become better at their subject, which help them in their future career.
In conclusion, I strongly agree that people should learn ought to focus on subjects they are passionate about because this helps them stay motivated and achieve good results. This is mainly due to the fact that personal interest makes learning easier and helps them build useful skills for their future careers.
