The exponentialy use of technology in teaching is rising concerns whether it will eventually replace teachers. Some people state that the role of teachers is too important, for sharing knowledge while others say that it is a matter of time for technology to replace them. This essay will show both perspectives, but in my opinion the job of teachers is irreplicable.
First thing we have to consider is the fact that technology makes learning easier. The availability of learning tools rises every month. Students can now learn new skills, languages and many other studies in a way that appeals to them the best. For example for one student learning new Spanish words by memorizing them can be exhausting so they may try to learn them by translating songs on a designated app. Not only it teaches them the translation but also the pernounciation in a memorable way. It can make the learning easier and faster compared to listening to the translation that the teacher shares.
On the other hand, using mainly technology for studying may have some negative impacts. The biggest issue is the accuracy of explanations, of math formulas or difficult words in other languages. They often have mistakes and if not checked by a teacher that can result in a student remembering a wrong explanation which can result in bad results on grades and in a job.
To conclude using technologies for teaching may have a lot of positive impacts, but if that knowledge will not be checked by a teacher students may happen to learn wrong explanations. That is why in my opinion teachers will not get replaced in the near future.
