In recent years, there has been a noticeable increase in the number of individuals who believe that the government should allocate more resources to public transport rather than private vehicles. This essay agrees with this statement, and I will explain my reasons in the following paragraphs.
On the one hand, investing more money in public transportation can be beneficial for a number of reasons. Firstly, the cost of public transport can be lower than private cars. For example, in the United States, private cars cost a lot of money, but public transport costs a lot more than public transportation. Therefore, the government can use this money to improve the quality of life for its citizens. Secondly, the more people use public transport, the lower the price of public transportation will be. For instance, in Japan, the average price of private cars is much higher than that of public cars, and public transport prices are much lower than those of cars. Thus, it is possible to say that public transport is a good investment for the country.
However, there are some drawbacks to this statement. One of the main drawbacks is that public transportation is expensive. If the government invested more money on public transportation, it would be more expensive to use it. Another drawback is that private cars are more expensive than public cars. If private cars were more expensive, public transport would not be able to use them, and the government would have to spend more money to make it more expensive.
In conclusion, I believe that investing more on public transport will help the country to have a better life. However, I also believe that private vehicles are more costly than public vehicles.
