Some people have an opinion that there are two many options these days. It is true and useful to an extend. I agree with the idea that there are two many options for a particular item.
On the one hand, many options for a particular thing can benefit people in a number of ways. Firstly, they can choose the best from many things available in the market. If they don’t like a particular brand they can opt for another brand which provide the same item. For example, if a person doesn’t like an iPhone, they can go for another brands such as Samsung, realme, Vivo ect. Secondly, consumers cannot be cheated. Too many options for a particular thing, compel brands to produce quality and affordable products. They cannot use low quality products and manufacture goods. if people does not like the products manufactured by the brand they would not buy that stuff ever again. It can create chaos for the company.
On the other hand, when too many options are available for a particular item, it can create troubles. It makes customers confused about what to buy. This confusion is not only evident in the trade but also in another sectors such as education. Too many educational institutions and educational consultants often confuse students. They will be in a dilemma thinking about what to choose. Another demerit of this phenomena is that, it is very difficult for the small scale manufacturers to get into the global market.
I conclude by stating my opinion that, even though many options on a particular item can create chaos but it’s demerits are greatly outweighed by merits.
