It is undeniable that in order to become an expert in one field, hard-working and dedication is needed. In this regard, a number of people reckon that participating in courses is enough to make one a teacher.
However, others, including me, opine that it will not be accomplished by just taking apart in classes. In the following, both of these views will be discussed further in-depth.
To commence with the first view, some are of the idea that courses are usually organized in a way that teach all needed skills in a short time. To explain more, basic skills are enough for a person to start their professional job. For instance, if a person finishes an English course, in which the elements of grammar and essential vocabulary are taught, they can pass their knowledge to children in kindergarten. Moreover, some people believe that many prominent teachers have started their teaching journey just by participating in a course or even through self-study, and they become experts gradually after a while.
On the other hand, many believe that being an outstanding teacher requires thousands of hours of teaching and experiment, otherwise it is an impossible mission for them to be an excellent teacher. In other words, courses just give limited and basic perspectives about the field is learned. As a result, in order to be more proficient in one field, profound intellectual is required. Furthermore, in my opinion, individuals who passed only one course cannot be reliable. For example, most families seek an expert and professional mentor, who has many years of experience of teaching, for their children.
In conclusion, a number of people think that courses are enough for a person to become a teacher because of scheduled programs in which main and basic subjects will be taught and also, they believe that experience will be gained through their journey. Nevertheless, others, including me, are of the idea that limited knowledge is enough to convey their information to others and they are not reliable to be a mentor.
