Band 6+: Some people feel that robots are very important to humans' future development, while others think that they are dangerous and have negative effects on the society. Discuss both views and give your own opinion. Write atleast 250 words.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

New inventions in the technology and artificial intelligence worlds, which have significantly increased recently, provide new opportunities for people’s better lives. Some people assume that robots are remarkably important to humanity’s bright future, while others strongly disagree with this assumption and think that they are hazardous for humanity. I would like to mention some arguments that can emphasize the rightness of both sides and also provide my personal opinion.

To begin with, the new intelligent technologies that have been shown to the world in the last few years have divided society into two massive groups with completely different points of view. The first group thinks that those new robots can co-exist with people, as well it is very important for the time ahead. The first thing worth mentioning is that modern robots notably help in the field of medicine, since they can assist in medical surgery. More and more people began to test new technologies, and most of the experiments ended with success. Another thing is artificial intelligence, which provides us with language-processing functions and is only one of its benefits. For instance chat- GPT which nowadays helps students all around the world with writing works. I firmly agree with this group of individuals, inasmuch as the reasons mentioned above seem to me more convincing.

On the other hand, the concern that robots are capable of replacing some human workers appears to be the predominant reason for people who believe that the technology world has a negative impact and that in the future, the situation can get worse. For instance, the example with language abilities chat in the first paragraph has another side, which causes many quietions in people who work in areas such as screenwriting or other ones where people write something for work purposes. There was even a rally in which actors and screenwriters participated, since AI directly impacts the film industry.

To conclude everything said above, the development of technology has already impacted society, and some assume that there are no benefits and that even there appears to be a danger for our future lives, while others believe and support the progress.
