Although the latter viewpoint is significant in many cases, I believe that tasks, especially emergency ones, can be performed by computers more effectively and quickly.
On one hand, computers simplify and expedite people’s lives. This is because they are designed for specific purposes, with software installed to handle particular tasks. These installed programs help carry out activities with 100% accuracy in a matter of moments. For example, when you give instructions to AI software on a computer to write an essay, it can produce a beautifully crafted response that saves considerable time for the individual. Due to this accuracy and time-saving capability, I consider computers to be life-changing technology.
On the other hand, computers are sometimes viewed as unfortunate innovations because of negative issues such as hacking, online theft, and data breaches. Important sites, like banks and major institutions, are often targeted, compromising internal information and the privacy of companies and individuals. This situation can lead to mental stress and other serious problems. However, there are many solutions available to address these issues, and implementing those solutions can make the computer world safer and more convenient.
In conclusion, computers are a tremendous gift for people in the twenty-first century, offering numerous benefits such as time-saving capabilities and efficiency, alongside drawbacks like privacy concerns and issues with theft. Nevertheless, there are laws and measures in place that help mitigate these problems, making computers increasingly valuable and beneficial.
