I strongly agree to the statement that says Ebooks and modern technology will totally replace traditional newspapers and magazines.
Firstly, these days many people are no longer buying newspapers and magazines because all the news that used to be found in newspapers can now be seen on the Internet free of charge. This is good in that it is very economic and environmentally friendly. Technology is convenient and has made access to things easy no more transportation of mass media printing of paper is needed in nowadays.
Secondly it is easier to store ebooks and information from the Morden day technology for access later in the future than it is to store magazines and newspapers for years to come. Information can now be stored in the cloud storage system whereas print media needs physical space for it to be kept.
Lastly the internet provides information quickly to the population as anyone with the necessary technology can easily look up information from wherever they are and get it in a split second without having to travel. On the other hand magazines and newspapers will require one to move in order to access them from where they are sold.
However, modern technology has resulted in the loss of employment for those in the printing production industry. This increases the unemployment rate and suffering of families whose bread winners where working in that line of work.
Overall, ebooks and modern technology will overide the use of newspapers and magazines in the near future as discussed in this essay the factors against print media are more than their benefits in the society.
