Band 6+: some people think children should start school at a very age, while others believe they should begin when are older. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Nowadays, some people believe that children should start school at an early age, while others argue that it is essential to begin their education when they are 6 or 7 years old. In my opinion, young children have an incredible ability to absorb information quickly, and starting school earlier can significantly accelerate their knowledge.

One of the main benefits of early education is that it opens up greater opportunities for children, enabling them to develop skills faster and enhance their intelligence compared to those who start studying later. Early schooling can improve critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Additionally, it fosters the development of social skills as children begin communicating with their peers at a younger age.

However, many parents choose to send their children to school when they are six or seven years old. This can negatively impact their memory and communication skills; nonetheless, the effects depend on how well a child adapts to their social environment. Some children may adjust quickly, while others may be more introverted.

In conclusion, there are various opinions regarding the appropriate age to start school. While some believe that beginning education at a young age can lead to rapid improvement in skills, others advocate for starting school at an older, more mature age.
