It is sometimes believed that a large amount of advertising is aimed at children and some people feel it should be banned. This essay strongly disagrees with this suggestion for several reasons.
The first argument given to support my opinion is that advertisements targeting younger audiences attract a large number of viewers. This is because parents always look for the best products for their kids, so they pay close attention to new and improved items. For instance, an advertisement for diapers can assist them in selecting the most suitable product for their baby as each child may have different skin sensitivities. This is why advertising goods can make the journey of parenting smoother for them. This is why I believe that a ban on advertising aimed at children shouldn’t be imposed.
Another point behind my belief is that advertisements can help children often learn by observing others and trying to adopt good habits in various ways. Advertisements that tell a positive story from start to finish can have a beneficial impact on them. For example, when kids see a young actor winning a prize after drinking a particular beverage and exercising, they feel inspired to do the same. Not only are they motivated, but they also aspire to emulate their role models. For these reasons, I think that advertisements don’t need to be banned.
In conclusion, I agree that advertisements’ main aim is that children don’t need to be banned given the aforementioned arguments.
