In modern era, it is thought that e-books will replace the traditional paper books while, presence of paper books will never be vanished. There is valid information for both perspective which will be shown in this essay before giving my personal opinion.
On the one hand, digital books hold many conveniences for readers. One of the main importance of digital books is portability. Those books are really easy to carry even one can carry whole library in a tool. Another factor of popularity of e-books is comfortability to find. Nowadays those books are super easy to find because those books are available almost everywhere. People can find them via internet. Additionally, e-books have many advantages, for example, searching tools in books, if there is any kind of information related to one’s studies then, searching tools help people to find whatever they are seeking in this book.
On the other hand, traditional paper books will never be replaced because of appreciation for readers. Many people are used to read paper books for enjoyment and people cherish by the smell of paper books. That is one of the reasons why paper books are never disappear. Another reason of popularity of paper books are distraction. In paper books there are not distractions by notifications, that is why people enjoy reading them while digital books lack of this feature.
In my opinion, digital books helps the young people with their studies, such helping them to look for necessary part of the information with searching tools, while paper books remains popular choice for readers who reads for their relaxation.
In conclusion, there are both reasons for the popularity of digital and traditional books. Although several advantages of digital books, paper books never disappear and they coexist in the future with serving several functions.
