There are groups of people believe that environmental issues are too complex for individuals to solve, although there are groups who think people should came together and cooperate to solving these problems.
I think the first group take this point of view under the reason that is this is the government’s responsibility and governors are in the frontline. This point of view has two sides which are capabilities and contribution. In the first side, due to politics, governors have very powerful connections and effective interactions and they have the ability to change decisions. This is because they are chosen by people in a highly competitive election so they have to take responsibilities of their role in the whole society. The other side is about how governments earn and spend money and their role in solving problems. Governments charge people with taxes which is defined as civilization costs by them. People think this would be enough to keep the whole country away from major problems which environmental problems is one of them and the key point is government’s approach to those problems that makes people sure if the problems will get solved or not.
In the next group, people consider both their personal and social power effective and have very positive impacts on their society. People in this group usually running NGOs and other types of communication to play a role in changing decisions and be a part of future ones. They reach this goal through making connections with governors to attract attentions and holding campaigns to attract volunteers. They believe these efforts can be game changer and can solve problems especially environmental related issues.
To conclude, I think although the first group’s point of view is true and there is no doubt in it, the second group holds the more effective approach to solving problems without hesitation and their hard work results in solving environmental problems.
