Many people widely argued that job satisfactory is far more crucial than job security, wherease, others believe that it is sometimes challenging to expect job satisfaction, so a permanent job is more significant. While permanent professions can often offer financial stability, I think that job satisfaction plays a vital role in employee’s productivity. In this essay I will discuss both views and show why the former surpasses the latter.
On the one hand, it is undeniable that many individuals looking forward to having permanent jobs to secure their financial futures. Although there are many ways to secure people’s financial stability, having a permanent job is the safest way, because of the limited number of risks involved compared with being a self-employed. As a result a large number of people may maintain their positions irrespective of their feelings and emotions towards their professions. For example, a study shed light on the connection between the highest paid jobs and the less satisfaction, revealing that 64% of saudis are working in a stressful work environment, however, they choose to sustain their jobs because they are permanent and they earn a considerable amount of money.
On the other hand, In my opinion, job satisfaction can increase the emoplyee’s performance. Therefore, this can facilitate and accelerate their professional growth. This is mainly due to their eagerness to involve in many risks and experiences regardless of the duration the will spend in the workplace. For instance, many people who are seeking professional growth tend to engage in work environments where they feel relieved and content.
In conclusion, while the permanent job is important because of the financial stability it provides, I believe that job satisfaction is really far more advantageous. Since workers’ content feeling is vital for job’s productivity and professional growth. In addition, they are more likely to have a wide range of experiences and risks than those who opt permanent careers.
