Some individuals think that living in rural areas can be bad for people’s health. While this idea has some reasonable points, I believe living in the city has more benefits for health.
On the one hand, rural areas may have some health risks because of air pollution. One main reason is factories that release harmful gases into the air. This can cause breathing problems and other illness. Also, transportation is a big problem. Now in big cities, the number of car have significantly increased, such as the smoke from cars can be dangerous for people’s health. For example, FGS internet platform say that air pollution from factories and transport make more people sick, increasing illness from 2% to 4%. Moreover, people in rural areas often do not have access to clean water and proper sanitation, which can lead to more diseases like infections and stomach problems.
However, cities have better hospitals and medical centers, which help people to get treatment faster. In big cities, there are many doctors and modern medical technologies, so people can get help quickly. Also, there are more sport centers, parks, and healthy food stores, so people can live a better lifestyle. For instance, many cities have gyms where people can exercise.which helps them to stay fit and avoid diseases such as obesity and heart problems. Furthermore, fresh fruits and vegetables are easier to find in supermarkets, helping people to eat a balanced diet.
In conclusion, even if rural areas have some problem like pollution, city life is better because of good healthcare and more opportunities for healthy living. Also, city residents have better access to clean food and fitness facilities, which makes their life healthier. That is why I believe living in the city is better for people’s health.
